It's now April 29 and although we haven't heard an official announcement from the town we are pretty sure that the ice is all out.
Grandpa takes the 2024 win for his April 30 guess.
If the town makes an announcement I can update the winner as Grandpa would graciously relinquish his title to Amy who is May 1.
We started following the ice out dates in 2019. I have no record of the family winners of our ice out competition from 2019-2021. If anyone remembers who won which year let me know and I will update the list.

Today is April 23 and Grandpa is feeling lucky. Grandmaman is doubtful that the ice will be out by April 30. Here are a few pics from today. Lots of thick ice still down by the cabin. Lots of open water and thinner ice flows here in Norglenwold. The ice hasn't broken up much though, seems to be one big sheet.
