Weeping Caragana

Planted in the front flower bed with

 full sun exposure at the Lakehouse in Norglenwold.

A Weeping Caragana is a deciduous tree with a strong central leader and a shapely form and gracefully arching branches.

Ice Out Sylvan Lake 2023

It's the first of April and all the predictions are in for the Annual Ice Out Date.  Ice huts were off the lake yesterday but the ice is over 4 feet thick with a generous covering of snow as I write this post. Good luck to all! Grandmaman and Grandpa are hoping for a Jenny win!

Reegan's Day May 9 passed by with a little ice left at Halfmoon Bay.
This is May 10 from Lakeshore Drive
 and the official word is there is
no ice left anywhere on the lake. 
 Reegan had the closest date and takes the title
"Ice Out 2023"
