It's the first of April and all the predictions are in for the Annual Ice Out Date. Ice huts were off the lake yesterday but the ice is over 4 feet thick with a generous covering of snow as I write this post. Good luck to all! Grandmaman and Grandpa are hoping for a Jenny win!

| Reegan's Day May 9 passed by with a little ice left at Halfmoon Bay. This is May 10 from Lakeshore Drive and the official word is there is no ice left anywhere on the lake. Reegan had the closest date and takes the title "Ice Out 2023" Official Date 2023 May 10 |
