Canna

Bronze Scarlet Canna Lily

Dug the canna lilies out of the front flower bed in Norglenwold in the Fall and overwintered the rhizomes in vermiculite in the basement over the winter.

Planted the rhizomes in potting soil in ice cream buckets.

Double White Heritage Peony

This peony is planted in the sunny front garden at the Lakehouse in Norglenwold.  This peony features large, fully double flowers of ivory to white.
Height 30-40 inches
Spread 33-36 inches
Zones 2-9
Trim off dead stems to the ground in late fall.

Flower Containers


Opening up the cabin at Kuusamo each summer means power washing
 the decks, brushing off the spring and winter from the furniture,
 windows, stairs and walls, falling deadwood from the border trees and revitalizing the flower beds.  Final touches adding bright flowers to the decks.
