Passion Moon Lily

  Elegant trumpet-shaped flowers in a striking shade of dusky maroon pink. Petals have an extensive edge of creamy white with just a hint of soft yellow. 'Passion Moon' is large, vigorous, floriferous and naturalizes readily. These incredible Giant Lilies with classic colours and large, impresssive blooms will create a garden masterpiece. Once established, their size will astound you. Each bulb can produce dozens of flower buds that open in succession, lasting for weeks. Height 72-78".

Planted in an  eastern exposure flower bed by a large sundeck with good sun amongst other asiastic lilies in Norglenwold on October 12, 2021.

Canna

Bronze Scarlet Canna Lily

Dug the canna lilies out of the front flower bed in Norglenwold in the Fall and overwintered the rhizomes in vermiculite in the basement over the winter.

Planted the rhizomes in potting soil in ice cream buckets.

Tiger Lily

These lilies grow in several different flower beds, one clump by the pond which is a southwest exposure and one clump in a large "keeping" garden which is fairly shaded by surrounding trees.  The keeping garden is an area which has become a lovely flower garden over the last few years by default, as the area was an old vegetable garden which became too shaded for growing healthy vegetables, and was used to put perennials in until they found a better home.  Needless to say some of the perennials grew very well here and have never been moved.

I believe these lilies are tiger lilies but more research needs to be done to verify that fact and also to learn about their peculiarities.
